Antistatic

A polyurethane sheet made semiconductive, with a surface resistance of 10⁸ Ω. The material is tacky, so it can be used where static is unwelcome.

No added adhesive

Its own tack leaves no residue. It also cleans a Gel Cleaner Pen or a semiconductive gel roller.

No silicone, no plasticizer

Bleed onto the contact surface is unlikely. Avoid soft PVC and materials rich in plasticizer.

Washing restores the tack

Rinse the sheet. How often you wash it can age it. Aside from C30 at 3.0 mm, many sizes are made to order, about three weeks.

Structure

A sheet of semiconductive polyurethane. It is tacky, so it can pick up dust or keep things from slipping where static is unwelcome.

Protective film covers both sides.

How to use

Press the dusty item lightly onto the sheet.

To transfer dust from a semiconductive gel roller, roll the dirty roller across the sheet.

To transfer dirt from a Gel Cleaner Pen, pat the tip. Do not drag it.

Cautions

How often you wash it, and how you use it, can age it.
Avoid soft PVC and materials rich in plasticizer.

How to clean

Rinse the dirt off the sheet. When it dries, the tack returns and it can be used again.

Comments

We use it where static matters.
We needed something that cleans gloves where static is a concern. The antistatic sheet can be used in those places.
We transfer dirt from the Gel Cleaner Pen.
We clean the pen tip on the sheet. Transferring the dirt is faster than rinsing.
The cut sizes are convenient.
We stick it on a desk, and cutting a large sheet was a chore. The ready-cut sizes help.
We keep using the same sheet.
Dirt rinses off easily. When it dries, the tack comes back.
